The Supreme Administrative Court of Lithuania (SAC) on Friday rejected the appeal of former Jonava District Council member Žilvinas Galimovas, who was convicted of embezzling more than 10 thousand euros in a criminal case involving "cheques", to the Central Electoral Commission (CEC). ELTA reminds that in May, based on the Electoral Code, the CEC decided to revoke the mandate of then Jonava District Council member Ž. Galimovas.
