In Denizli, the monument and thematic area built in memory of the martyrs who lost their lives in the treacherous July 15 coup attempt were removed by the Merkezefendi Municipality. The July 15 Martyrs Monument, along with the tank replicas and human figures on the Martyrs' Road, which were constructed during the AKP administration, were dismantled by construction machinery and loaded onto trucks.
