Days of People of Good Will in Velehrad attracted about 30 thousand pilgrims during Friday and Saturday. The Cyrillo-Methodian pilgrimage was carried in the spirit of the Catholic Jubilee Year 2025, but also commemorated the anniversary of the end of the war and the events of Velehrad in 1985, which were a harbinger of the fall of the communist regime.
The two-day Days of People of Good Will concluded on Saturday with a pilgrimage mass in front of the Basilica in Velehrad. Saturday's national pilgrimage and Friday's program of one of the most important church holidays in the country attracted fifty thousand people from the Czech Republic and abroad.
