People over the age of eighty will have their pensions increased by 500 crowns per month in five-year intervals starting in January. When they reach the age of one hundred, it will be increased by 1,000 crowns. Working pensioners will also benefit. The change is to be brought about by a government amendment, which was supported by deputies in the first round on Thursday.
