As the Economic Agreement has just celebrated its first 148 years of existence, it is surprising that four out of ten Basques still do not know what the fundamental basis of Basque self-government consists of, which is the instrument through which Basque politics and the economy are channeled and, through them, the development and progress of this country, as well as the well-being of its citizens.
