Five islands of the Canary Islands have orange alert (danger) for rains, winds of up to 100 km/h and coastal phenomena.
The Government of the Canary Islands has activated this Saturday the warning for the risk of rain floods and landslides in the western islands and in Gran Canaria, on the occasion of the passage of the front of the Therese Boresca, which has struck the archipelago since last Wednesday, according to EFE. In the rest of the islands, Fuerteventura, the situation regarding the risk of rain floods will be pre-alert.
