The Basque Government requests to increase the number of inspectors of tourist apartments

In the last four years, the number of tourist accommodation and rooms has increased significantly in the Basque Country, which has resulted in a greater workload for the fourteen inspectors currently employed by the Department of Tourism, Trade and Consumption. In order to cope with this workload and speed up the processing of files, the Basque Government has requested additional staff, which has not yet received a response.
