The Bad Guys 2: New Trailer, Poster, And 9 Character Posters Released

Universal Pictures and DreamWorks Animation have unveiled the official trailer along with a main poster and a set of nine individual character images for The Bad Guys 2, which is scheduled for release on August 1, 2025.
The sequel follows the reformed Bad Guys as they get hijacked into a globe-trotting heist masterminded by the Bad Girls, continuing the series based on Aaron Blabey's books.
The film features the returning original cast, including Sam Rockwell, an Academy Award recipient, reprising his role as Mr. Wolf, alongside SAG Award nominees Marc Maron and Craig Robinson, Grammy Award winner Anthony Ramos, and Emmy Award winner Awkwafina.
The Bad Guys 2 carries a PG rating from the Motion Picture Association for action, mild violence, rude humor, and language, with music by Oscar-nominated composer Daniel Pemberton.
Since the first film’s 2022 release, the book series has expanded sales from 8 million to over 30 million copies, underscoring the franchise’s growing popularity ahead of this new installment.
