Padilha washes the feet of homeless people next to Father Júlio Lancellotti
The Minister of Health, Alexandre Padilha, took part this Thursday (17th) in an action with Father Júlio Lancellotti to wash the feet of homeless people. The initiative combined the Catholic tradition of the foot washing ceremony with an awareness campaign against diabetic feet. Professionals from the Unified Health System (SUS) participated in the project; medical, nursing and nutrition students, as well as volunteers from the Catholic Church.
