A constable — attached to the special protection unit in Mumbai — died hours later after he was found with serious injuries on the railway tracks between Taloja (in Raigad district) and Nilajhe (in Thane district) stations near Diva in Maharashtra on Wednesday morning, Thane railway police officials said.
