Texas Senate approves legislation to reassign state’s lottery regulator

The Texas Senate has voted through legislation which could alter the lottery market in the Lone Star State, including a total ban on lottery courier operators. Senate Bill 3070, introduced by Republican representative Bob Hall, passed with a unanimous 31-0 vote last week.
