Tesco to take on over 28,500 Christmas temps for the festive season

This year, Tesco is taking on more than 28,500 temporary Colleagues to help customers during the busy Christmas period.
Jobs will mainly involve working in Tesco’s Superstores and Extra stores on early morning, day or evening shifts, serving customers, stocking shelves and picking orders for home delivery.
Emma Richardson Brown, Fresh Food Team Manager, began as a festive Colleague recently at the Gainsborough store and advanced through Shift Leader and management placements.
Pay starts from £12.64 an hour with flexible shifts, creating seasonal work opportunities for applicants seeking varied hours in festive roles.
Ela Golab, Tesco Group People Services Director, said the company is excited to recruit over 28,500 festive colleagues, with no experience necessary, just the right attitude.
