The Pacific nation of Nauru has decided to open its embassy in Jerusalem. Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar announced the Nauruan government's decision, which reportedly followed a meeting with the Nauruan Foreign Minister in Fiji last month. Nauru, a supporter of Israel, recognized Jerusalem as Israel's capital in 2019.
