Tens of Thousands at Ostermärschen - Organizer Satisfied

"Peaceable instead of wary" was the motto of the Easter March on Saturday with 75 demonstrators from all over the county. They tried to mobilize with facts, experiences, demands and songs against rearmament and war.

Tens of thousands demonstrated in over 100 German cities during the traditional Easter marches for peace and disarmament. Peace for Palestine was also demanded in Berlin, and the police arrested 15 demonstrators.

According to the organizers, several tens of thousands of people participated in this year's Easter marches.

The wars against Ukraine and the Gaza Strip and the planned rearmament were the main focus of the Easter marches. After less recent arrival, more people took part this year.

This year's Easter marches took place in more than 100 locations in Germany. The organisers draw a positive conclusion.
