Ten little fish swam through the fish elevator

"Ten little fishes, who swam to the sea. Mother said, I'm not going." This nursery rhyme is known to many people. It only paints a very unlikely scenario for Dutch fish. They usually can't swim to the sea at all. Because between the dirty old ditch and the sea is a maze of impenetrable weirs and locks.
