Phone, internet and TV services for Telus users in the North Island went down on Wednesday morning, impacting customers’ ability to contact 911. Telus service went offline in nine communities across northern Vancouver Island – including Campbell River, Port Hardy and Alert Bay – around 4:15 a.m. Wednesday.
