ROANE COUNTY, Tenn. (WATE) — A high-speed pursuit on Interstate 40 ended in Roane County after the car crashed. The Tennessee Highway Patrol said a trooper watched a 2025 gray Chevrolet Malibu going east on I-40 violate a traffic safety law on May 20. They attempted to stop the vehicle, however, the driver reportedly fled. THP said the car reached speeds of more than 130 miles per hour and passed other eastbound traffic on the right shoulder. …
