GALLATIN COUNTY, MONTANA, AUG 5 – Taylor Kitsch declined a regular role in the Friday Night Lights reboot to focus on his nonprofit work supporting veterans and addiction recovery, leaving open only a brief cameo possibility.
- On Monday, August 4, 2025, Taylor Kitsch confirmed he won't return for the Friday Night Lights reboot on Peacock, saying he has no plans to reprise Tim Riggins.
- In December 2024, Peacock announced in December 2024 that they were developing a 'Friday Night Lights' reboot, set after a hurricane involving a Texas high school football team.
