STORRS, CT — Masuk High's softball team, the top team in the bracket, won its seventh straight state championship with a 3-0 win over No. 2 Waterford in the Class L tournament finale at the University of Connecticut on Sunday. Sofia Lieto earned championship game MVP accolades. She doubled, walked and drove in two runs.
