The death of Tanyeli, who fought pancreatic cancer for 2.5 years and passed away at the age of 54, plunged the art world into mourning. The famous artist, whose real name was Öznur Kral, was laid to rest in Bodrum following a funeral prayer held at Zincirlikuyu Mosque on March 18.
