Magyar Announces Inaugural Session of Parliament for Early May

Hungarian President Tamas Sulyok met today with the leader of the winning Tisza party, Peter Magyar, as part of meetings with the presidents of the three parties that entered parliament in Sunday's elections. After the conversation, the latter said that Sulyok would propose him as the prime minister-designate and that the inaugural session of the new parliament would be held on May 6 or 7.
President Tamás Sulyok was the first to meet with the chairman of the Tisza Party. Following the meeting, Péter Magyar held a press conference in which he announced that the new Parliament could be formed in early May.
The chairman of the Tisza Party, Tamás Sulyok, met with the President of Hungary at the Sándor Palace.
The inaugural session of the National Assembly will be convened as soon as possible.
