Taiwan's Foreign Currency Deposits Approached NT$16 Trillion in April, Setting a New Record

According to statistics released by the Financial Supervisory Commission (FSC) recently, as of the end of April this year, the foreign currency deposits of Taiwanese banks reached NT$15.9521 trillion, an increase of NT$268.6 billion or 1.7% month-on-month, continuing to set a new historical record. It has remained above NT$15 trillion for seven consecutive months and is just one step away from the NT$16 trillion mark.
