Taiwan: Taiwan welcomes large Czech delegation after Honduras shifts allegiance to China

Taiwan's Economy Minister, Wang Mei-hua, has said that despite losing diplomatic recognition from Honduras, Taiwan remains in a "democratic alliance" and can work with many friendly countries. Speaking after a visit from a large Czech delegation, Wang said Taiwan could have "relevant co-operation with lots of countries that are friendly", particularly in trade, culture, and the economy.
