The province of North Holland has made agreements with the agricultural sector to reduce ammonia emissions. The goal is for the more than eight hundred dairy farmers in North Holland to collectively achieve a 30 percent reduction compared to 2019 levels within ten years. The farmers are free to decide how they will achieve this.
