Syracuse, N.Y. — Syracuse men’s lacrosse defensive coordinator John Odierna is leaving to become the next head coach at Fairfield University, sources confirmed to syracuse.com.

FAIRFIELD, Conn. – Following a comprehensive and competitive nationwide search, John Odierna has been selected as the Head Coach of Fairfield Men's Lacrosse. Most recently the Defensive Coordinator at Syracuse, Odierna comes to Fairfield on the heels of back-to-back Final Four appearances with the Orange.
