Switzerland recognized this Thursday, 20 February, that Swiss programmes of assistance and extra-family placements that have targeted the Yenishes and the Manushes for decades constitute a "crime against humanity", estimated at about 2,000 such placements.
From 1926 to 1973, the children of the drivers were placed abroad. A legal opinion now classifys the facts of the case.
