Letter to the editor: I wish water restrictions were put in place earlier

I am writing in regards to the drought and water issues. Given the lack of snowpack and low water in the reservoir, i’m wondering why the towns and county are being were being so laxidasical about water restrictions before May 20. I believe we needed mandatory water restrictions and only once or twice a week outside watering.  Looking forward, I would hope that people are encouraged to get rid of lawns and be well more aware of what’s going on w…
