A new INSA poll conducted after the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern and Berlin elections in Germany showed that the AfD has widened the gap ahead of the CDU/CSU at the federal level. According to the poll, the AfD reached 29.5 percent, while the CDU/CSU remained at 19.5 percent, while the SPD and Greens were equal on 13.5 percent.
Difficult times for the Union: In a new survey, the AfD is expanding its lead on CDU/CSU. SPD and Greens are now on the same footing with Insa for the first time in months.
In the first poll conducted after the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern and Berlin state elections, the AfD reached 29.5% of the vote, while the CDU/CSU remained at 19.5%. The gap between the two parties widened to 10 points, and 45% of voters called for early general elections if Chancellor Merz resigned.
The right-wing populist Alternative for Germany (ADN) has increased the gap from the CD/CSU bloc to 10 percentage points.
