The fully accessible, zero-emission vehicles will feature Wi-Fi, charging points and space for wheelchairs and pushchairs. The fleet is expected to cut around 13,000 tonnes of carbon over its lifetime, with 50 electric buses set to run across Surrey by the autumn. The £6.3m scheme, funded with partners and a government grant, is part of efforts to improve public transport and reduce emissions.
