ITHACA, N.Y. — Nurses at Cayuga Medical Center (CMC) will unionize after some 82% eligible workers voted to do so during elections on Jan. 14 and Jan 15. The union will represent around 350 registered nurses at CMC. The local unit is affiliated with the Communication Workers of America (CWA) and will be called Cayuga United CWA.
