The Přerov region was hit by strong storms on Thursday evening. Eighty-four-year-old Alena Tománková from Újezdec, a part of Přerov, knows her story. She told Deník that first hail started falling and eventually water from the fields washed away her garden and reached her house.

In the Czech Republic, around 3,500 households remain without electricity after severe storms that hit parts of the country on Wednesday and Thursday. Most of them are in Central Bohemia, followed by the Moravian-Silesian and Zlín regions. Technicians plan to fix most of the problems today.
