Sundsvall Bird Suspected of Espionage in Ethiopia

A herring gull from Sundsvall equipped with a GPS transmitter was on its way home from Central Africa. But it stopped in Ethiopia where the bird was seized by the military. “They thought it was a spy bird from Sudan or Egypt,” says Ulrik Lötberg from Birdlife Sweden.
