Sunday afternoon house fire causes $40,000 in damage

EAST PEORIA, Ill. (WMBD) -- An electrical fire is believed to have caused $40,000 in damages to an East Peoria home on Sunday. Crews with the East Peoria Fire Department were called at 2:32 p.m. to East School Court to a report of a structure fire, said Assistant Fire Chief Ronnie Marmitt.
