Summerville Man Arrested for Exploiting Elderly

Malcolm Jamal Shockley, 32 of Summerville, was arrested in Rome after reports said he used a bank card of an elderly Rome man to make purchases without their approval. Police said that Shockley charged a total of $716 to the victim between May 1, 2024 and July 1, 2024. Shockley is charged with exploitation and intimidation of an elderly person. Source
