Single-use electronic cigarettes, or "puffs," will be banned from sale in Switzerland. On Wednesday, by a vote of 19 to 11, the Council of States forwarded a motion to this effect from the National Assembly, sponsored by Christophe Clivaz (Greens/VS).


The state council wants to ban the sale of disposable electronic cigarettes in Switzerland in order to protect young people and the environment. However, this should not change much, says one expert.
