The Minister of Health, Mónica García, reported on Thursday that last year there were 3,808 deaths due to suicide, according to the provisional figures, which is the third consecutive annual decrease of deaths due to this cause, with a decrease of 145 compared to 2024 and 419 compared to 2022, as well as an accumulated reduction of more than 10%.
