Our series of weekly reports on Sudan, which has just entered its fourth year of war. It was in Khartoum in April 2023 that the fighting broke out between the army and the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) fighting for power. After occupying the capital for two years, the SRFs were expelled last year by the Sudanese Armed Forces. But, today, Khartoum is bruised. It has not even finished burying her dead.
