Study finds flies to be as effective at pollinating berries as honeybees
Usually pesky insects that are quickly shooed away, the humble fly, could soon be used in Australia as an important agricultural tool. A recent University of New England study finding two species of fly were able to pollinate raspberries and blackberries, just as effectively as honeybees.
