Study finds alarming level of microplastics in heart attack patients’ blood

- Researchers analyzed blood samples from 61 patients undergoing angiograms, finding detectable plastic particles in nearly 84% of severe heart attack cases, compared to 40% with chronic heart disease and 32% with normal arteries.
