Strong universities depend on a union contract

Properly structured collective bargaining provides clarity, predictability and accountability — benefiting faculty, administrators and governing boards. Strong universities depend on protected workers, and enforceable protections strengthen the academic enterprise and the commonwealth. The General Assembly still has the opportunity to reinforce that foundation.
