WANEP is currently implementing a project entitled: “Strengthening inclusive local governance in terms of gender, leadership and the empowerment of women and girls in the Sahel.” This project aims to strengthen the systems and structures that promote the empowerment of women at the local and national levels as key stakeholders in political transitions, governance and development in Burkina Faso, Mali and Niger.
