Storm over Varese and Induno Olona: flooded houses, cars overwhelmed by water and landslides

The wave of heavy rain that hit the Varese area last night led to the flooding of the Olona river and the closure of a section of the SS233 “Varesina”, near Induno Olona. A river of water has invaded the streets with such force as to move parked cars. The water has also flooded several homes. Here are the images and voices of the locals.
