During a storm in the Tatras, the cable car to Kasprowy Wierch broke down. There were almost 200 tourists on the summit, but in emergency mode, everyone was taken down - said Łukasz Chmielowski from Polskie Koleje Linowe.

About 200 passengers had to be transported from Kasprowy Wierch in an emergency mode, and some of them were evacuated thanks to the intervention of the Tatra Voluntary Ambulance Service (TOPR). The reason for the paralysis of the queue was a probable lightning strike that damaged the drive.
