Storm "Amy" hit Oppdal and Rennebu hard. Forest owner Øyvind Veskje and his partner Torunn Bell saw the forest crash to the ground as the hurricane's gusts ravaged the house.

130 of the 2,100 base stations in the Norwegian emergency network were knocked out of service during the weekend's storm. In Trøndelag, 50 of the 200 base stations were affected.

Concrete, corrugated iron, pieces of wood, insulation and scrap everywhere. This is what parts of Oppdal look like two days after storm "Amy" devastated the area.
