The union complaints and the intervention of the Labour Inspectorate have shown that the employees of the kitchens, laundries and maintenance areas of Paradores have endured conditions that violate the basic regulations of occupational safety and health in terms of temperature. In the Parador de Manzanares, days have been recorded under temperatures above 35°C (at some even higher workplaces) have posed a real risk to the health of the staff.
