Train traffic between Gothenburg and Borås is still at a standstill after Thursday's freight train derailment in Bollebygd. According to the Swedish Transport Administration's latest forecast, traffic is not expected to resume until July 5. The stoppage affects traffic between Gothenburg and Stockholm and Gothenburg and Kalmar, among other things.

A 600-metre-long freight train has derailed in the municipality of Bollebygd causing train services to be suspended between Stockholm and Gothenburg. The repair work will take around two weeks, according to the Swedish Transportation Authority.
Train traffic between Gothenburg and Borås has been halted since a freight train derailed outside Olsfors. "Between thumb and forefinger, this could take a couple of days to fix," the Swedish Transport Administration tells SVT.
