Stellarton Seeks Provincial Funds for Sewer Line Project
The town of Stellarton will get another kick at the can for provincial funds. Council voted to proceed with an application to the Growth & Renewal for Infrastructure Program (GRID) for cost-sharing up to 50% on the sewer line project for South Foord Street, which is expected to cost $372,000. The town had already applied for funding through the Provincial Assistance Capital Program (PCAP), but was turned down.
