Stellantis Announces Strategic Plan that Includes 11 New Vehicles with Several Costing Under $40K
The automaker said nine of the new models will cost under $40,000 and two under $30,000 as part of a $41 billion regional investment.
On Thursday, Stellantis unveiled its "FastLane 2030" strategic plan in Auburn Hills, Michigan, committing $69.7 billion to global technology and platforms while pledging 11 new vehicles for the United States.
Stellantis CEO Antonio Filosa designed the roadmap to reverse years of declining profits by refocusing on four core global brands—Jeep, Ram, Peugeot, and Fiat—which will receive 70 percent of all product investments.
The automaker plans to launch 60 new global models and refresh 50 others, with nine new U.S. vehicles priced under $40,000 and two additional models retailing for less than $30,000.
By 2030, the company aims to increase North American market coverage by 50 percent, targeting 25 percent revenue growth while improving cost competitiveness across the regional portfolio.
Future growth relies on the modular "STLA One" platform, which integrates AI and autonomous driving capabilities, while Stellantis pursues partnerships like its recent collaboration with Jaguar Land Rover.
