Stalked Frida Karlsson – receives suspended sentence

Sisse Sejr-Nørgaard's conviction for stalking has been appealed by the State Attorney, who wants the sentence to be harsher.

A 64-year-old man who stalked ski star Frida Karlsson has been sentenced to a suspended sentence and must pay 40,000 kronor in damages, Ångermanland District Court stated in a press release.

The man who stalked Swedish world cross-country skiing champion Frida Karlsson has been given a suspended sentence and a fine of around 3,650 euros (over 90,000 crowns) in court. The decision was reported by the district court in the province of Ängermanland, DPA reported.

The 64-year-old man tried to contact Karlsson in various ways, without ever receiving a response from her, and also violated a restraining order. From October 2023 to February this year, he sent her countless text messages and called her more than 200 times.
