In May, Prijatelj Videmšek writes in his commentary Insect Apocalypse about the necessity of concrete actions to protect pollinators. Insect populations, to which bees also belong, are declining by up to two percent a year, which should worry us. But in the effort to prevent an insect apocalypse, we are picking the wrong paths, the author emphasizes.
